Selma Brawner Turner, 79

Selma Brawner Turner, age 79 of Westmoreland, Tenn. passed away Tuesday, September 2, 2008. Funeral services were conducted Friday, September 5 with Bro. Guthrie Thompson officiating. Interment followed in the Eulia Cemetery.

Selma was the daughter of the late Alex Brawner and Emily Hammock Brawner. She is also preceded in death two husbands, Landon (Jack) Thompson and Thomas Nelson Turner; brother Lloyd Brawner; sisters, Bertha Sullivan, Lula Mai Whitefield, Willie Ann Slayton and twin sister, Thelma Caroline Turner.

She is survived by sons, Ronnie L. Thompson of Goodlesttsville, Randy L. Thompson of Mt. Juliet and Roger Dale Thompson of Lafayette; daughter, Rita Brawner of Bethpage; 8 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
