Ida Joyce Reece, 73

Ida Joyce Reece, age 73 of Red Boiling Springs, Tenn. passed away Thursday morning, September 4, 2008 at The Palace in Red Boiling Springs, Tenn.

Funeral service for Ida Joyce Reece were conducted Saturday afternoon, September 6, 2008 at 1 p.m. from the chapel of the Phillip Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Red Boiling Springs, Tenn. with Jimmy Cook officiating. Interment followed in the Smith Chapel Cemetery. Corey Davis, Derrick Reece, Eric Reece, Kevin Reece, Paul Strack, and Rondall Wilkerson served as Pallbearers.

She was born October 29, 1934 in Barren County, Ky., the daughter of the late Houston Elvin Wilkerson and Zena Clark (Bean) Wilkerson. On July 18, 1955, she married Lynn Allen Reece, who preceded her in death on May 18, 1997.  In addition to her parents, and husband she was preceded in death by her brother, Tommy Wilkerson.  She was a homemaker and attended the Bakerton Church of Christ.  

Survivors include: daughters, Deborah Lynn Davis of Red Boiling Springs, and Leah F. Reece of Murfreesboro, sons & daughter-in-law, David (Lesia) Reece of Lebanon, and Mark Reece of Red Boiling Springs, grandchildren, Corey Davis of Red Boiling Springs, Derrick Reece of Nashville, Pamela Reece of Murfreesboro, Eric Reece of Gamaliel, Ky., Kevin Reece and Katie Reece both of Lebanon, and Brooke Reece of Murfreesboro, great-grandchildren, James Allen Davis and Chandler Seth Reece.
