Terry Carnahan, 48

Terry Carnahan, age 48 of the Winklers Community in Macon County, Tenn. passed away Sunday afternoon, September 7, 2008 at the Macon County General Hospital in Lafayette, Tenn.

Funeral service for Terry Carnahan will be conducted Wednesday morning, September 10, 2008 at 11 a.m. from the chapel of the Phillip Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Red Boiling Springs, Tenn. with Brother John David officiating. Interment will follow in the Smith Chapel Cemetery. His nephews will serve as pallbearers.

He was born March 13, 1960 in Macon County, Tenn., the son of the late Jessie Hilmon and Bessie Imogene Tucker Carnahan. Besides his parents, he was also preceded in death by his sister, Melba Carnahan and brother, Jimmy D. Carnahan. On August 3, 2005 he married the former Wilma Hudson, who survives. He was an Electrician and Carpenter for Hollis Construction in Red Boiling Springs, Tenn. with 9 years of service and a member of the New Life Community Church.

Survivors besides his wife, Wilma include: daughter, Kanesha Carnahan, Winklers Community, sons, Kendall Carnahan, Nashville, Eathan Carnahan, Winklers Community, step-daughter, Ashley Higgins and husband, Josh, Lafayette, step-sons, Chris West, Red Boiling Springs, Justin Wright and wife, Keshia of Lafayette, sisters & brothers-in-law, Myra & Gene Gentry, Linda & Roy Young all of Red Boiling Springs, Jean & Gordon Poole, Lebanon, brothers, J.W. Carnahan, Tompkinsville, Ky., Roy Carnahan, Hermitage Springs Community, brothers & sisters-in-law, Jerry & Patsy Carnahan, Lafayette, Mack & Penny Carnahan, Rocky Mound Community, step-grandchildren, Bryson and Blaine Higgins.
