Thelma Vera Huff Knight Carver, 96

Thelma Vera Huff Knight Carver was born April 8, 1912 in the community of Haydenburg in Jackson County, Tenn.

She was the second child of Rosie Sara Harris Huff and Bedford P. Huff. She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband Charles Howard Knight, a son Charles Willard Knight, step-son Raymond Knight, step-granddaughter Sandra Ray Garrett, step-great-grandson Bobby Garrett, step daughter Ann Dye, second husband Amos O. Carver, three brothers; Drury, Robert, and Bradley Huff. She is survived by step-daughter Hybernia Huffine, step-son Thomas and wife Lou Carver, six step-grandchildren Lorene Pyle, Sue Wilson, Tommy Carver, Mark Carver, Keith Carver, Phillip Dye. Three nieces, five nephews, and a host of friends and cousins also survive.

She was saved at an early age.  She has been a member of Lafayette Church of Christ for over forty years. She will be sadly missed by family and friends but she is in a far better place where there is no sorrow, no tears, and no pain.
