Conchata Lee Presley, 30

Conchata Lee Presley, better known as “Chita”, age 30, passed away Monday, October 20, 2008, at the Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

The funeral service for Conchata Lee “Chita” Presley was conducted Wednesday, October 22, 2008 at 2 p.m. from the Chapel of Alexander Funeral Home with Brother Billy Freeman officiating. Chuck Meador, Denise Rash, Randy Short, Fredrick Fequa, Brian Cherry, Bobby Dyer, Scottie Brawner, Zack Brawner served as pallbearers. Interment followed in the Eulia Cemetery. 
Conchata Lee “Chita” Presley was born on Thursday, August 3, 1978 in Trousdale County, Tenn. She was the daughter of Darrell Gene and Patricia Lee (Smith) Knight. On June 8, 1995, she was married to Jason Jeremiah Presley, sharing thirteen years and two children together, Jeremiah survives. “Chita” was a housewife and employed by Nestle Waters North America in Red Boiling Springs for the last three years. She enjoyed being with her co-workers and participating in potluck dinners at work; she loved to cook. She lived for her family, supporting her children in ballgames and other activities in which they were involved. She always had her family, as her first priority; she loved to camp and had planned to go with her family soon. She was a member of the Miller’s Chapel Church. Besides her husband, she leaves behind to mourn her passing; son, Michael “Landon” Presley and daughter, Aerial “Lexie” Presley both of Macon County, Tenn., sister, Jenny Woodard (Joel) Powell of Macon County, Tenn., grandparents, Dovie Knight of Macon County, Tenn., Eugene Smith of Trousdale County, Tenn., sister-in-law, Hope (Jeff) Thompson of Lafayette, Tenn.
