Delbert “Buddy” Adams, age 51 of Red Boiling Springs, Tenn. passed away Wednesday afternoon, October 29, 2008 at the Sumner Regional Medical Center in Gallatin, Tenn.

Funeral service for Delbert “Buddy” Adams were conducted Saturday afternoon, November 1, 2008, at 2 p.m. from the chapel of the Phillip Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Red Boiling Springs, Tenn. with Pastor John McClendon officiating. Interment followed in the Old Brush Cemetery in Portland, Tenn. with Military Honors. His pallbearers were Steve Huckaby, Nick Brown, Matt Brown, Tyler Carter, Ray Long and Ricky Wilson.  
Buddy was born April 5, 1957 in Trousdale County, Tenn., the son of the late William Eugene and Julia Faye Swindle Adams. He was a construction worker and served in the United States Army as a Ranger.   
Survivors include: daughter & son-in-law, April & Jason Carter, Lafayette, Tenn., son, Justin Adams, Red Boiling Springs, Tenn., sisters & brothers-in-law, Patsy & Jerry White, Phila & Terry Huckaby, Pam & Steve Brown, Elsie & Mike Booker all of Hendersonville, Tenn., Derinda & Kenneth Carr, Gallatin, Tenn., brother, Anthony Adams, Hendersonville, Tenn., grandchildren, Tyler & Austin Carter, Lafayette, Tenn., 19 nieces & nephews and Ziggy.
