Gerald Likens, 69

Gerald Likens, 69, of Moss, Tenn., passed Thursday, October 23, 2008 at Cumberland River Hospital. Mr. Likens was born in Clay County, Tenn. on April 5, 1939, the son of the late Tommy and Manda Belle Likens. He worked for the Clay County Highway Department and was a member of Union Hill church of Christ.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara Likens of Moss, Tenn.; sons, Ray Likens of Celina, Tenn., Allan "BoBo" (Donna) Likens of Moss, Tenn.; sisters, Katherine Franklin of Whitleyville, Tenn., Sue Cherry of Moss, Tenn.; brothers, Dumas Likens of Moss, Tenn., J.T. Likens of Moss, Tenn., Dalton Likens of Moss, Tenn.; grandchildren, Brandon (Melanie) Likens, Kara Likens, Marranda Likens, Lucas Likens, and Sydney Long; great-grandchildren, Brant Likens and Katelyn Carnahan.

He was preceded in death by his brothers, Radford Likens, Carlos Likens, Rex Likens, Lester Likens, Willis Likens; sisters, Ruby Gentry and Erma Likens.

Funeral services were conducted at Hall Funeral Home, LLC, Celina, Tenn., at 2 PM on Sunday, October 26, with Dan Lewis officiating. Interment followed at Kendall Cemetery. 
Bart Smith, Brandon Likens, Lucas Likens, Lucas Hickman, Charles Savage, and Arlin West served as Pallbearers.
