Vera Sue Tuck, age 58, passed away Sunday, October 26, 2008, at the Saint Joseph Hospital in Lexington, Ky.
Graveside service for Vera Sue Tuck was conducted Wednesday, October 29, 2008 at 2 p.m. from the Haysville Cemetery with Reverend Jack Lambert, and Elder Jimmy Claiborne officiating; interment followed. Adam Nash, Bart Lewis, Gary Durram, Novice Lancaster, Billy Joe Meador, and Phillip Smith served as pallbearers. Vera Sue Tuck was born on June 21, 1950 in Bedford County, Tenn. She was the daughter of the late Jesse James and Leola (Cawthron) Lambert. Besides her parents; one sister, Jean Smith, and one grandchild, Mason Nash, preceded her in death. Vera worked for the last twenty years as a Central Sterile Technician for Saint Joseph Hospital in Lexington, Ky. She is survived by; son, Joseph “Tater” (Rebecca) Tuck, and daughter, Gena (Adam) Nash all of Lafayette, Tenn., sisters, Carolyn Brown of Lexington, Ky., Erlene Simmons of Shelbyville, Tenn., and Billie Lambert of Tullahoma, one brother, Reverend Jack Lambert of Tullahoma, Tenn., grandchildren, Billy Joe Meador, Emily Tuck, Jesse Tuck, and Trinity Nash.
