Dennie Smalling, age 97

Mrs. Dennie Smalling, age 97, of Westmoreland, Tenn. passed away on Monday, November 17. Funeral services were conducted Wednesday, November 19 at 11 a.m. from the Chapel of Woodard Funeral Home with Bro. Landy Presley and Bro. Jerry Wix officiating. Interment followed in the New Hope Cemetery.

Mrs. Smalling was survived by her sons, Edward Smalling, James & (Betty) Smalling; daughters, Fances & (Ronnie) Reese, Erma & (J.T.) Thompson all of Westmoreland and 19 grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Will and Lizzie Fultz; husband, James Ervin Smalling; daughter, Gertie Calvert; sisters, Rosie, Minnie, Ardelle, Daisy, Willie Lou, Lucille, Emer and Jewell; brothers, Demas and George Fultz.
