Cornelia Bell Bohanan, age 83 of Red Boiling Springs, Tenn. passed away Friday evening, Nov. 21, 2008 at The Palace in Red Boiling Springs, Tenn.
Funeral service were conducted Mon. afternoon, Nov. 24, 2008, at 2 p.m. from the Chapel of the Phillip Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Red Boiling Springs, with Edward Anderson and Dale Sadler officiating. Interment followed in the Whitley Cemetery in Red Boiling Springs. Honorary Pallbearers were Morris Bell, Cortez Sadler, Bruce Sweet, Larry Halliburton, Ronnie Morgan and Mike Morgan. Active Pallbearers were Tony Bell, Harold Bell, Roland Sweet, R.J. Spivey, Ryan Carnahan and John David Taylor. Cornelia was born Feb. 20, 1925 in Macon County, Tenn., the daughter of the late Burley and Anna Knight Bell. She was married to Verdell Sadler, who preceded her in death. She later married Elvis Bohanan, who also preceded her in death. In addition to her husbands and parents, she was also preceded in death by her grandson, Jimmy Morgan and brothers, Jesse, Roland, Cobie, Bert and Billy Bell. She was a homemaker and a member of the Red Boiling Springs Church of Christ. She was survived by daughters and son-in-law, Janice Boles, Red Boiling Springs, Tenn., Glenda & Johnny Taylor, Belle Glade, Fl.; son & daughter-in-law, Cobie & Shirley Sadler, Rome, Tenn.; sister & brother-in-law, Vivian & Roger Sweet, Marrinna, Fl, 12 grandchildren, 11 Great Grandchildren & 4 Great-Great Grandchildren.
