Mary Olean Hanvy, 75
Mary Olean Hanvy, age 75, of Gallatin, Tenn., passed away Jan. 9, 2009. Funeral services were conducted Tues., Jan. 13 from the Chapel of Woodard Funeral Home with Bro. Charles Carr and Bro. Eugene Mays. Interment followed in the Rocky Mound Cemetery.
His grandsons served as Active Pallbearers. Mrs. Hanvy was a homemaker. She is survived by her sons, Charles (Anglea) Carr, Thomas (Mary) Hanvy both of Westmoreland, Milton (Kim) Hanvy of Gallatin; daughters, Carol (John) Adcock of Red Boiling Springs, Linda (James) Oakesof Gallatin, Brenda (Richard) Miller of Lebanon, Tenn.; brothers, Willard Alexander of Scottsville, Ky.; sisters, Annie Jo Graves, Ruby Graves, Lois Cox all of Gallatin, Bonnie Woods of Westmoreland; 11 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents Jessie Goldmann and Bertha Mae Johns Alexander; husband, Richard Hanvy; brothers, J.T. Alexander and Willis Dean Alexander; sister, Willie Mae Alexander and great grandchildren, Keshia Cline and Mark Aaron Brook.
