William Howard Holder, 77

William Howard Holder, age 77, better known as “Bill,” passed away Tues., Jan. 13, 2009, at his residence. The family chose cremation and no services where held.

William Howard “Bill” Holder was born on, Dec. 29, 1931 in White County, Tenn. He was the son of the late Lee and Delma Denton Holder. He married the former Freddie Rose Dick on May 3, 1951; she preceded him in death on Jan. 8, 2002. Besides his wife and parents; son, William Howard Holder, JR., brother, Charlie Holder, sisters, Hallie Holder, Minnie Knoles, Clarita Denton, Emogene Holder, and Infant, Armay, also preceded him in death.  Bill was a retired chemist from DuPont. He enjoyed raising cattle, fishing, and spending time with family and friends. He is survived by; twin sons, John Cleveland Holder of Lafayette, Tenn. and Joe Lee Holder of Nashville, Tenn., daughter, Donna Kay (Howard) Rubright of Florida, brother, Joe Donald Holder of Sparta, Tenn., sister, Maggie Dye of Hendersonville, Tenn., five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
