Ona Mae Boles, 90

Ona Mae Boles, age 90, of Celina, passed away Thurs., Jan. 22, 2009 at the Cumberland River Hospital in Celina, Tenn. Funeral services were conducted Sun., Jan. 25, 2009 from the Chapel of Upton Funeral Home with Paul Winchester officiating. Interment followed in the Turkeytown Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers were Josh Cloutier, Travis Taylor, Willard Boles, Bo Rich, Wayne Rich, Rush Rich and Lester Boles. Ona Boles was born March 23, 1918 in Celina, Tenn. to the late Aster and Vernie (Cox) Boles. Ona Boles was a retired Restaurant Owner and a member of the Celina First Baptist Church. Ona Boles is preceded in death by her husband of 67 years George L. Boles and son, Claudean. She is survived by sons, Robert L. Boles of Celina, Tenn. and Billy E. Boles of Indianapolis, Ind.; daughter, Sue J. Watson of Indianapolis, Ind.; sister, Alberta Hall of Old Hickory, Tenn.; 3 Grandchildren, Robert Allen Boles of Celina, Tenn., Donna McBride of Celina, Tenn. and Phillip Watson of Fisher, Ind. and 5 Step Grandchildren; 7 Great-Grandchildren and 5 Step Great-Grandchildren; 2 Great Great-Grandchildren.
