Mrs. Mildred Short, 97

Mrs. Mildred Short, 97, of Moss passed away Fri., Feb. 6, 2009 at Cumberland River Hospital in Celina, Tenn.

Mrs. Short was born in Clay Co., Tenn. on June 25, 1911, the daughter of the late Winfield and Laura Bell (Strong) Mabry. She was a member of Oak Grove Church of Christ. She was a House Wife. Mrs. Short is survived by 4 daughters, Anna Joyce Edwards, Virginia Runell Brown, Hazel Ruth Bray, Lou Dean West, 3 sons, James Willas Short, Ezra Wallace Short, Charles Leeman Short. She is also survived by 15 Grandchildren and 19 Great Grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, James Estil Short, and Children: Evelyn Inez Short and Jack Ray Short. Funeral Service at Hall Funeral Home, LLC, Celina, Tenn., Sat., Feb. 7, with Gary Wilder officiating. Interment at Pitcock Cemetery.
