Michael James Palmer, 76

Michael James Palmer, age 76, passed away Feb. 18, 2009, at the Sumner Regional Medical Center. Memorial services were conducted Sat., Feb. 21, 2009, at 6:00 from the Bethel Family Worship Center.

Michael James Palmer was born in Ann Arbor, Michigan to the late Harold and Helen Oconnie Palmer. He married Linda Diane Middaugh on Nov. 12, 1982, sharing twenty-six years together, Linda survives. Michael was an employee for American Greetings Company, where he retired in 1994. He then worked for the Galilee of the Nations Music Company before retiring in 2006. Michael was a veteran during the Korean War, serving in the United States Air Force. He enjoyed playing golf in his spare time and being with his family and church friends.  Michael was a member of the Bethel Family Worship Center. He is survived by his wife, Linda Palmer, sons, Kidron (Jennifer) Eastman all of Lafayette, Tenn., Stephen, Chris, and Mark Palmer all of Michigan, daughters, Jeanne (Bob) O’Jack of Arizona, Starr Magsig of Ohio, Brook (David) Floyd, Summer (David) Whaples all of Lafayette, Tenn., Carole Woods of Michigan, brother, Ned Palmer, sisters, Mary Degner, and Patricia Chambers both of Michigan, four grandsons, four granddaughters.
