Carine Goodall Shipper, 77

Carine Goodall Shipper, age 77, passed away March 8, 2009, at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville, from injuries sustained from an automobile accident. Funeral services were conducted Wed., March 11, 2009, from the chapel of the Alexander Funeral Home with Mike Carson and Tim Boren officiating.

Tim Goodall, Mark Burton, Monty Story, Nick Oliver, Spencer Burton, Greg Anderson, and Harry Fields served as pallbearers. Interment followed in the Macon County Memorial Gardens. Carine was born to the late Harley Lee and Freddie Lee Jones Goodall on Sept. 9, 1931. She was married to Frank Fahey Shipper, who preceded her in death on July 17, 1980. Besides her husband and parents; Brothers, Leroy Goodall and Lavoris Goodall also, preceded her in death. Ms. Carine was employed by Texas Boot Company in Hartsville, Tenn., for several years, as supervisor. She was a lady who enjoyed life, but her love for her family and church, always came first. She was a member of the Lafayette Church of God.
She is survived by; son, John (Betty) Bransford of White Pigeon, Michigan, daughters, Lois (James) Anderson of Charlotte, Tenn., Erica (Nathan) Beckham of Vicenza, Italy, grandchildren, Donelle (Monty) Story, and Greg Anderson all of Charlotte, Tenn., Ashley and Luke Beckham both of Vicenza, Italy, Stacy Swindle, and Jennifer Bransford both of Lafayette, Tenn., great-grandchildren, Taylor Story, Kelsey Story, and Grace Anna Story all of Charlotte, Tenn., Cody Jent, Brian Swindle, and Ty Swindle all of Lafayette, Tenn., brothers, Doc (Barbara) Goodall, Randall (Rita) Goodall all of Lafayette, Tenn., and Chris (Sherry) Goodall of Christianna, Tenn., sisters, Nona (Bobby) Burton, Virginia (Harry) Fields of Louisiana, Joan (Raymond) Thompson of Gallatin, Tenn. and Debbie (Tony) Oliver of Murfreesboro, Tenn.
