James Ralph Stewart, 61

James Ralph Stewart, age 61, passed away March 17, 2009, in Orange Park, Fla. Funeral services were conducted Sat., March 21, 2009, from the chapel of the Alexander Funeral Home with Brother Harold Atkins officiating.

Cody Stewart, Wanda (Atkins) Walrond, and Randy Reece served as honorary pallbearers. Keith Huntsman, Josh Hughett, Wesley Jones, Trevor Jones, David Roberts, and Scotty Brawner served as active pallbearers. Interment followed in the Leonard Cemetery. James Ralph Stewart was born on Oct. 7, 1947 in Gainesboro, Tenn. to the late Winters Cordell and Lois Louise Atkins Stewart. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by; one brother, Roger Cordell Stewart. James was a veteran of the Vietnam War serving in the United States Army. He was an electrician, working for Double R. R. Electric Company for nine years; he currently was working in Florida on a construction site. He enjoyed fishing and riding around in his car enjoying the outdoors. He was the father of one son who he loved deeply. He is survived by; son, James Cody Stewart, brother, Harold Junior Stewart, sisters, Cathy Louise Pitts, Imojean “Cricket” and husband Randall Coulter, all of Lafayette.
