Mayme E. Mandrell Rippy, age 99, of Bethpage, Tenn, passed away Mon., March 16, 2009 at Sumner Regional Medical Center. Funeral services for Mrs. Rippy were Thurs., March 19th from Providence General Baptist Church, with Bro. Rick Duffer and Bro. Doyle Farris officiating. Interment followed in the Forrest Chapel Cemetery.

Active pallbearers were Rodney Carr, Devin Carr, Jeff Rippy, Jason Rippy, Barry Frye and Jeff Graves. She is survived by her son Jerry & (Paulette) Rippy of Gallatin; daughter Jean Carr of Westmoreland; grandchildren Rodney & (Lisa) Carr of Westmoreland, Devin Carr of Hermitage, Kim & (Barry) Frye of Westmoreland, Melissa & (Jeff) Graves of Westmoreland, Jeff Rippy of Gallatin and Jason Rippy of Gallatin; 9 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents Kirk and Mattie Robertson Mandrell; husband Ollie Dee Rippy; son-in-law Jimmy Carr; brother Carlos Mandrell and grandson Ricky Carr. Mrs. Rippy was a member of Providence General Baptist Church.
