Mary Jackson, 88

Mary Jackson, age 88 of Red Boiling Springs, Tenn., passed away Mon., March 23, 2009 at the Macon County General Hospital in Lafayette, Tenn. Funeral Services for Mary Jackson were conducted Wed., March 25, 2009 from the chapel of the Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Red Boiling Springs with E. C. Meadows officiating. Interment followed in the Leonard Cemetery.

Her family and friends served as pallbearers. On Jan. 13, 1938, she married David, better known as “Jack” Jackson, who preceded her in death on Aug. 8, 1975. In addition to her husband and parents, she was also preceded in death by her son, Wilburn Jackson, step-son, David “Zip” Jackson, son-in-law, Charles Key, grandson, Brad Jackson, half-sister, Sarah Scoggins and half-brother, Benton Flora. She was a homemaker and a member of the Bakerton Church of Christ. Survivors include: daughters &sons -in-law, Lois Key, Red Boiling Springs, Barbara & Thomas Wiley, Portland, Tenn., Becky & Bruce Thomas, Lafayette, Linda & Danny Hooten, Celina, Tenn., Brenda & Mike Russell, Red Boiling Springs, sons & daughter-in-law, John & Charlotte Jackson, Lafayette, Richard Jackson, Red Boiling Springs, daughter-in-law, Rose Jackson, Smyrna, Tenn., half-brothers, Bill Flora, Bowling Green, KY, Kenneth Flora, Louisville, KY, 21 grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren.
