Johnny S. Loftis, 87

Johnny S. Loftis, age 87, of  Portland,  passed away, Thur.,  April 2, 2009. Funeral services for Mr. Loftis were Sun.,  April 5th from the Chapel of Woodard Funeral Home with Bro. Gutherie Gregory officiating. Interment followed in the Rippy Cemetery.

He is survived his wife Annie Mae Clark Loftis of Portland; sons Clifford (Carol) Loftis of Portland and David (Donna) Loftis of Westmoreland; brothers Lloyd Loftis of Gallatin and Austin Loftis of Lebanon; 4 grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents Escue and Dora E. Medlin Loftis and brother, Willie Loftis. Mr. Loftis was a retired employee of Eaton Corporation in Gallatin.  He was also a World War II Veteran.
