Eva Cross Long Spivey

Eva Cross Long Spivey, passed away Sat., April 25, 2009. Funeral services were conducted April 28, 2009 from the Chapel of Anderson & Son Funeral Home with Hubert Jones officiating. Interment was in the Mt. Vernon Cemetery in Red Boiling Springs.

She is survived by her daughters Shelia (Jerry) Davis of Hermitage Springs, Rita (Jerry) Ford of Gamaliel, KY., Darla (Victor) Morey of Antioch, Tenn., Cindy (James) Pruett of Hermitage Springs; son Clarence “Peachie” Long of Red Boiling Springs; sisters Ruth (Jerry) Denton of the Union Hill Community, Carolyn (Sonny) Collins of the Pine Hill Community; brother Gary (Ruthie) Cross of the Waltrace Community and 6 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husbands Rex Elonzo Long and Floyd Lester Spivey; parents Estus and Lucy B. Birdwell Cross; brother Alvin (Bud) Cross; sister Irene Long.
