Tina Mae Bowling, 59
Tina Mae Bowling, age 59, of Lafayette, Tenn., passed away April 23, 2009, at her residence. Funeral services were conducted Sat., April 25, 2009, from the Alexander Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Tim White officiating. Robert Coots, Steven Coots, Chris Bowling, Bo Harris, Mike Wilson, and John Anderson served as pallbearers. Interment followed in the Macon County Memorial Gardens.
Tina Mae Bowling was born on Jan. 2, 1950 in Perry County, KY, to Pearl Baker and the late Alwilda Hamilton Baker. She was married to Willie Edward Bowling on Oct. 2, 1968 sharing 41 years together, and raising two sons and one daughter, Willie survives. Besides her mother, she was also preceded in death by; sisters, Frankie Coots and Pauline Coots, infant brother, Carl Baker, and grandson, Kyle Douglas Bowling. Tina had worked for Macon Helps as the Assistant Manager for the last five years. She enjoyed fishing, but being with her family, and doing things for them, was what made her happy. She was a member of the Temple of God Ministries where she enjoyed preaching and singing. Besides her husband and father, she is survived by; sons and daughter-in-law, Willie JR. (Racheal) Bowling, Roy Bowling, daughter, Faye Coots, all of Lafayette, Tenn., Brothers, I.D. Baker and Eugene Baker, both of Slemp, KY, sister, Louise Toffer, of Knoxville, Tenn., Ten grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
