Bobby “Moose” Davis Dorris, 70

Bobby Davis Dorris  (Know to Co-workers as Moose), age 70, of Gallatin, formally of Westmoreland, passed away May 9, 2009. Funeral services were conducted Mon., May 12 from the Chapel of Woodard Funeral Home with Rev. John Hill officiating.

He is preceded in death by his parents Charles D. and Nova Gammons Dorris; sister Eunice Law and brother William Bill Dorris. He is survived by his wife Peggy Law Dorris of Gallatin; son Jeffery  (Shelia) Dorris of Westmoreland; daughters Julie (Kevin) Baker and Samantha (Craig) Rooks of Gallatin; grandchildren Christopher & Cameron Dorris, Jessica & Zachery Baker, Madelyn & Molly Rooks; great-grandson Tanner son of Christopher; great granddaughter Pyper Addison daughter of Cameron; brothers Gene Dorris of Westmoreland and Frank Dorris of Alexandria, VA.; sisters Virginia Gilliam of Westmoreland and Twin sister Diane McMurtry of Tampa, FL. In Lieu of Flowers the family request  Memorial Contributions to the American Lung Association. Mr. Dorris was retired from Pirelli Tire Company.
