Mary Goldie Meador, 89

Mary Goldie Meador, age 89 years, of Westmoreland, formerly of Adolphus, KY, passed away Sat., June 6, 2009 at Sumner Regional Medical Center. Funeral services for Mrs. Meador were conducted Mon., June 8th 2009 from the Mt. Union United Methodist Church with Rev. Wayne Keen and Rev. Chuck Pruitt officiating. Interment is in Rocky Mound Cemetery.

Active Pallbearers were Tony Meador, Paul Napier, Tim Napier, Lee Meador, Tommy Meador, Charles Wade, David Ladd and Larry Overton. She is survived by her son Frankie (Tammy) Meador of Gallatin; daughter-in-law Tish Meador of Brandenton, FL;  sister Jackie (J.C.) Keen of Indianapolis, IN; six grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. She is precede in death by her parents John and Minnie Napier Austin; husband Thomas L. Meador and son Bobby Gene Meador. Mrs. Meador was retired from the Macon County Board of Education where she worked as a member of the cafeteria staff at Westside Elementary School. She was a member of Eulia General Baptist Church.
