Christie Thompson, 36

Christie Thompson, age 36, of the Difficult Community, passed away Sun., June 7, 2009 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. Funeral services were held Wed., June 10 from the Chapel of Sanderson Funeral Home with Eld. Jeff Patterson officiating. Interment followed in the Defeated Çreek Memorial Gardens.

Born Christie Leigh Thompson at Carthage General Hospital on July 18, 1972, she was one of three children of William Harold “Bill” Thompson, Jr. and Sandra Jane “Janie” Brown Thompson of the Difficult Community. She is preceded in death by a  sister Abby Pauline Thompson, who died at birth on Feb. 19, 1969; paternal grandparents, William Harold “Bill” Thompson, Sr. and Janie Parker Phelps Thompson; maternal grandfather, Henry Hall Brown. She is survived by, in addition to her parents is her brother, Chris Thompson and wife Suzanne and their children, Hannah and Dylan Thompson all of Murfreesboro; maternal grandmother, Pauline Brooks Brown of the Difficult Community.
