Randolph Pruitt, 80

Randolph Pruitt, age 80, of Lafayette, Tenn., passed away on Sat., June 13, 2009 at The Palace Nursing Home in Red Boiling Springs, Tenn. funeral services were conducted Mon., June 15, 2009 from the chapel of the Hall Funeral Home in Celina, Tenn. Interment followed in the Key-Killmon Cemetery with Deacon Fred Smith officiating.

Mr. Pruitt was born in Clay Co., Tenn. on June 11, 1929 to the late John Albert and Verdia Ann (Key) Pruitt. He was a construction worker. He is survived by his wife Mattie (Smith) Pruitt of Lafayette, Tenn.; daughters Betty Pruitt of Lafayette, Tenn. and Janith Reecer of Baxter, Tenn.; son Doyle Pruitt of Lafayette, Tenn.; Mellia Davis of IN. and Florence Greer of Hurricane Mills, Tenn.; brother Willie W. Pruitt of NC. He is preceded in death by his sister Polly Key; 3 babies, Shirley, Willie, and Jimmy Pruitt.
