Stanley Wilson Jackson, age 79, of Gallatin passed away Thurs., June 17, 2009. Funeral Services were conducted Sat., June 20 from the Chapel of Family Heritage Funeral Home with Rev. Kyle Poole officiating. Burial followed in the Sumner Memorial Gardens with Artie Whitaker, Freeman Thompson, Chad Height, Tony Flueallen, Travis Porter and Reece Legge serving as pallbearers.

Honorary pallbearers were Ed Gallop, Lee Myers, Paul Horton, Bob Damron, retired Bellsouth employees and Gordonsville Graduating Class of 1948. Mr. Jackson was born in Smith County, Tenn. on Dec. 8, 1929, to the late Hoy Virgil Jackson and Bertha Troutman Jackson. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by four brothers John, Edward, Carl and Hoy (Jr.) Jackson. He is survived by his wife of 56 years Claudine Flueallen Jackson of Gallatin, sons Keith (Marcia) Jackson of Mt. Juliet and Steve (Elaine) Jackson of Lakeland, Fl.; daughter Anita Jackson Sawyer of Garland, TX; brother James (Ruth) Jackson of Smithville, Tenn.; sister Louise (Dorris) Manning of Watertown, Tenn.; 6 grandchildren Anna Jackson, Ryan Jackson, Katie Jackson, Kyle Sawyer, Lindsey Jackson and Michelle Jackson and one grandchild by choice Lauren Legge.
