Donald Ray Vinson, 53

Donald Ray Vinson, age 53, of Lafayette, Tenn., passed away Wed., July 8, 2009 at the University Medical Center in Lebanon, Tenn. Funeral Services for Donald Ray Vinson were conducted Fri., July 10, 2009 from the chapel of the Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Red Boiling Springs, TN with Cary Frazier officiating. Interment followed in the Whitley Cemetery.

His family served as pallbearers. Donald was born July 27, 1955 in Monroe County, KY., the son of the late Tom and Lucille Hackett Vinson. On Sept. 10, 1977, he married the former Shirley Newberry who survives. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his son, Donnie Vinson and brother, Harold Vinson. He was a Sawyer for the Rich Lumber Company with 34 years of service. He loved his little dog, daisy. Survivors besides his wife, Shirely of 31 years include his son, Jason Vinson of Lafayette; sisters & brother-in-law, Sara Jo Turner, Betty & Freddie Isenberg; brothers & sisters-in-law, Comas & Jean Vinson all of Tompkinsville, KY, Travis & Martha Vinson of Gamaliel, KY & granddaughter, Emily Netherton of Lafayette.
