Dewey Lane Connor, 65

Dewey Lane Connor, age 65 years, of  Westmoreland, Tenn. passed away, Sat.,  July 18, 2009. Memorial services for Mr. Connor were conducted Tues., July 21 from New Zion General Baptist Church with Bro. David Scruggs officiating.

He is survived by his wife Peggy Ann Morris Connor of Westmoreland; sons Allan Connor of Conover, NC and Heath Connor of Lafayette, Tenn.; daughters Janie Davis of Conover, NC, Sharon Weevman of Granite Falls, NC, Nicole Connor of Granite Falls, NC, Kristen Cassidy of Tenn.; step daughters Kelly Gammon of Westmoreland, Tammie Woodard of Lenoir, NC; step son Ethan Gammon of Westmoreland; 9 grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents Dewey Deal and Willie Thelma Loftin Connor and sister Cecilia Jo Connor Peler.
