Dimple Hudson Sutton, age 72 of Red Boiling Springs, Tenn., passed away Tues., July 14, 2009 at the Summit Medical Center in Hermitage, Tenn. Funeral services for Dimple Hudson Sutton were conducted Fri., July 17, 2009 from the chapel of the Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Red Boiling Springs, Tenn. with E. C. Meadows officiating.

Interment followed in the Anderson & Son Memorial Park. Honorary Pallbearers were Dr. Ashok Mehta, Bobby & Agnes Bush, Roy & Charlene Rice, Charles & Fay Spurlock, Alvin & Ann Allen, Jerry Wilson, Flodie Thomas, Harold White and member of the Bakerton Church of Christ.  Active Pallbearers were Travis Thomas, Barry Copas, Vince Costa, Roger Clark, J. W. Greanead, Bobby Beasley, Kevin Driver, and Mark Hudson. Dimple was born July 13, 1937 in Macon County, Tenn., the daughter of the late Joe Edgar and Virgie Knight Hudson. On Dec. 27, 1952, she married Doyle Sutton, who survives. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her sister, Freda Costa, brothers, Dowell, Buck and Henry Hudson and son-in-law, Jimmy Neal Roark. She was a cook and clerk for the Quik-N-Easy Market #5 in Red Boiling Springs for 8 years and a member of the Bakerton Church of Christ. Survivors besides her husband, Doyle of 56 years include: Rebecca Roark, sons & daughters-in-law, Joe & Patsy Sutton, David “Pete” & Beverly Sutton, Charles & Annettia Sutton all of Red Boiling Springs, sister & brother-in-law, Lou & Kenneth Driver, Franklin, Tenn., grandchildren, Taylor Sutton, Tatelin Sutton, Kenethia Gentry, Brandi Bozarth, Leslie Massengille, Amanda Likens, Kelly Jones, Mark Newberry and Donnie Crawford and 13 great-grandchildren.
