Annie Ruth Calvert, 84

Annie Ruth Calvert, age 84 years, of  Westmoreland, passed away Sun.,  Aug. 2, 2009 at Westmoreland Care and Rehab Center. Funeral services for Mrs. Calvert were conducted Wed., Aug. 5 from the Chapel of Woodard Funeral Home with Bro. Allen Buckta officiating. Interment followed in the Mt. Olive Cemetery.

She is survived by her nephews Blanton Calvert of Westmoreland, Mike Rippy of Bethpage, Ray Dorris of Gallatin and Roger Dorris of Gallatin; niece Delilah Troutman of Bethpage. She was preceded in death by her parents Pasley Odell and Laura Elizabeth Claiborn Rippy; husband Denver C. Calvert; brothers Woodrow and Edwin Rippy and sister Addie Dorris. Mrs. Calvert was retired from Genesco Shoe Manufacturing. She was a member of Gallatin Free Methodist Church.
