Carvine Perrigo, 92

Carvine Perrigo, age 92, of Red Boiling Springs, and formerly of Lafayette, Tenn., passed away Aug. 14, 2009, at The Palace Care and Rehab. Funeral services were conducted Sun., Aug. 16, 2009 from the Alexander Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Bryan Morgan officiating.

R. C. Perrigo, A. P. Perrigo, Billy Perrigo, Michael Ragland, Kevin Ragland, and Troy Cothron served as pallbearers. Interment followed in the Galen Cemetery. Carvine Perrigo was born on Aug. 12, 1917 in Macon County, Tenn., to the late Rufus C. and Nettie Austin Perrigo. Besides his parents; step-mother, Edgie Perrigo, brothers, Vester Perrigo and Floyd Perrigo, also preceded him in death. Carvine was a person with a different life than the most of us. Living in his own world and not being able to talk did not slow him down; Carvine had his own way of relating to people. He enjoyed people that cut-up and played around with him. Carvine loved to be outside, watching nature. He was a special blessing to all who knew him and will be sadly missed. He is lovingly survived by; sister, Maurine (Donnie) Cothron of Lafayette, Tenn., Jewell (Noie) Birge of Indiana and a host of extended family.
