Mr. Hubert Cordell Strong, age 82, of Celina passed away Wed., Aug. 5, 2009 at the Cumberland River Hospital in Celina. Funeral Service at Hall Funeral Home, LLC, Celina, Tenn. on Fri., Aug. 7, with Bill Threet officiating. Serving Pallbearers; Daniel Strong, Dale Strong, Jason Hamilton, Jack kSullivan, Joseph donaldson & Ronnie Strong. Interment at Fitzgerald Cemetery.

Mr. Strong was born in Clay Co., Tenn. on Aug. 7, 1926, to the late Evert and Iva (Spivey) Strong. He served in the U.S. Army as a Private in the Korean War. He was a self employed Farmer. He is survived by son & daughter-in-law: Jerry & Linda Strong, daughter & son-in-law: Debbie & Barry Jones, sister: Billie Nell Sullivan, grandchildren: Daniel Louis and Dale Strong. He was preceded in death by his wife: Rebecca Louise Strong, parents, brother: Joe James Strong, sisters: Verlie Waddell and Elizabeth Edgin.
