Bobby Joines, 80

Bobby Joines, age 80 of Colona, IL. and formerly of Red Boiling Springs, Tenn. passed away Thurs., Sept. 10, 2009 at his residence. Graveside Memorial Services for Bobby Joines were conducted Fri., Sept. 18, 2009 from the Smith Chapel Cemetery with Jimmy Cook officiating.

Bobby was born June 28, 1929 in Red Boiling Springs, Tenn., the son of the late Crit and Essie Compton Joines. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by sisters, Opal Butler and Dixie Lee. On April 16, 1954, he married the former Nora Frances Ragan, who survives. He served in the Navy from 1947 to 1950. He worked at John Deere as a welder for 32 years retiring in 1982. He loved playing golf and euchre. Survivors include his wife, Frances Joines, Colona, IL, sons & daughters-in-laws, Jerry & Debbie Joines, Randy & Linda Joines all of Texas, David & Carmen Joines, Nevada, daughter & son-in-law, Susan & Gary Bottorff, Moline, grandchildren, Chad, Brandon and Ashley of Texas, Sabina of Nevada, Samantha Shaaf, Milan, 3 great-grandchildren, brother & sister-in-law, Fay & Pat Joines, Lafayette, sisters & brother-in-law, Edith Bean, Nashville, Dinky Jenkins, Red Boiling Springs, Jo & Roy Knight, Hermitage Springs.
