Paul Grey Gann, age 79

Funeral Services for Mr. Paul Grey Gann, age 79, of Elizabethtown, IN, formerly a native of Macon County, TN, were conducted  Saturday, September 26th, at 2:00 p.m. from the Anderson & Son Funeral Home Chapel in Red Boiling Springs with Mr. Gann’s grandson-in-law, Jason McCort officiating.

Interment followed in the Smith Chapel Cemetery in Red Boiling Springs. Pallbearers were John Gates, Russell Jenkins, Josha Woodruff, Tony Jenkins, Derick Jenkins, Travis Woodruff.

Paul  passed away Thursday morning, September 24, 2009 at the Medical Center in Indianapolis, IN.  He was born December 16, 1929 in Macon County, TN, the son of the late Bennett and Ossie Phillips Gann.  Paul married the former Lotus King, who preceded him in death.  In addition to his wife and parents, he was also preceded in death by his son, Ted Bowman, brother, Rex Gann, and great-grandchild, Gregory Idlewine.  He worked for Pepsi Cola for many years then after retiring he worked on vending machines.
He is survived by, Three daughters and sons-in-law, Wanda and Russell Bowman Jenkins of Scipio, IN, Ramona and John Gates of Columbus, IN, Pamela Woodruff of Elizabethtown, IN, Brothers, Joe and Denny Gann, Sister, Louise Thompson, Sister-in-law, Lorell Gann all of Lafayette, 6 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.
