JESSE GALE DOSS

passed away at his residence on October 6, 2009, at the age of 61.  Funeral services for Jesse Gale Doss were conducted Friday, October 9, 2009, at 10:00 a.m. from the chapel of Alexander Funeral Home with Elder J. E. Shoulders officiating. H.N. Reed, Mike Veach, Bobby Brooks, Tommy Napier, Terry Reed, and Kerry Reed served as pallbearers.  Interment followed in the Anderson & Son Memorial Park.
Jesse Gale Doss departed this life on October 6, 2009, at the age of 61. Jesse Gale Doss was born on February 4, 1948 in Macon County, TN, to his parents; Jesse Willard and Mary Elizabeth Higdon Doss, his father preceded him in death.
Jesse Gale was a graduate of Macon County High School and a self-employed handyman. He also worked for Texas Boot Factory, American Greeting Company, and Volunteer Sintered Products. He was always a good son, taking care of his mother after his father’s death. In his younger life he loved to ride his motorcycle, but later in life he enjoyed walking around town making several friends along the way. Jesse Gale was loved and will be greatly missed by his family and friends. He is in heaven now, no more heartaches or pain for him.
He is survived by; Mother, Mary Elizabeth Doss of Lafayette, TN, Aunt, Ruby and husband Arnie Guinn of Lafayette, TN, Cousins, Sue Reid, Carolyn Napier, Charlotte Dawes, Jean Brooks, and several close friends, also survive.
