TILLMAN ALTON BOREN

 of Lafayette, TN passed away from injuries sustained in an automobile accident on October 10, 2009, at the age of 37. 

Funeral services for Tillman Alton Boren were conducted Tuesday, October 13, 2009, at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of Alexander Funeral Home with Elder Terry Austin and Reverend Mike Carson officiating. Classmates and close friends served as pallbearers.  Interment followed in the Macon County Memorial Gardens
He was born on August 14, 1972 in Catoosa County, GA, to his parents; Tillman Ray and Mary Anne Kitchens Boren.  Tillman recently married DeeAnn Frye on June 6, 2009, DeeAnn survives.  
Tillman worked for the Rogers Group for the last five years, his co-workers spoke very highly of him and his great personality.
He was known for his athletic ability; playing baseball, basketball, and football. Tillman was an All-Star at every level no matter what game he was playing, and he received many accolades for his accomplishments during his life. He was well known in football, playing for Macon County High School as # 20, playing offensive and defensive positions in the Tiger backfield; he graduated with the Class of 1991. Tillman loved to fish, coon hunt, and ride his horses. Tillman enjoyed hanging out with his friends; he was a big hearted person who was always willing to help people in need. He was of the Church of God Belief.
Tillman was a loving husband, father, son, and friend that will be missed greatly by all who knew and loved him.   
He is survived by; wife, DeeAnn Frye Boren of Hartsville, TN, parents, Tillman Ray Boren and Mary Anne Kitchens Boren of Dyersburg, TN, Grandfather, Alton Boren of Chickamauga, GA, Daughter, Amanda Marie Lattie Boren, Step-Children, Devin Nicholas Frye, and Taylor Alaine East all of Lafayette, TN, Sisters, Wendy and husband Don Smith, and Angie and husband Neil Lewis all of Dyersburg, TN.
