JUDY LANE JOHNSON, age 53, of Lafayette, TN, passed away Wednesday, November 11, 2009, at Macon County General Memorial Hospital.

Judy Lane Johnson, age 53, of Lafayette, TN, passed away Wednesday, November 11, 2009, at Macon County General Memorial Hospital.
Judy was born on January 26, 1956 in Macon County, TN, to her parents; Lynn Wayne and Rebecca Ann Presley Doss. She was preceded in death by; step-granddaughter, Samantha Johnson and step-grandson, Dustin Johnson.
She was married to John Burns Johnson on March 17, 1978, sharing thirty-one years together, John survives.
Judy went to work in October of 1977 for Carter Automotive Industry and continue there until it close in June of 1994.  She then went to work for American Greetings Company until it closed around 2005.
Before her health started to fail her, she liked fishing and being outdoors. The story is that the men dreaded seeing her come to turkey shoots because she was a good aim with a gun. Judy was a loving mother and grandmother, cherishing every minute she had with her family and grandchildren. She attended the Church of Christ. Judy will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Besides her husband, Judy is survived by; parents, Wayne and Rebecca Doss, daughter, Nicole (Kevin) Blankenship, step-sons, Brian Johnson and Kenny Johnson, brother, Jimmy (Teresa) Doss, sister, Regina (Mike) Huse, granddaughter, Serenity Blankenship, step-grandson, Jeffery Johnson, step-granddaughters, Tara Johnson, MaKayla Johnson, step-great-great-grandson, Carson Johnson, all of Lafayette, TN, several nephews and nieces, also survive.
