Ruth Elizabeth Rogers, 90

  RUTH ELIZABETH ROGERS, age 90 of Rockwood, Tennessee and formerly of Lafayette, Tennessee, died on January 16, 2010 at the Rockwood Care & Rehabilitation Center. Graveside services for Ruth Elizabeth Rogers were conducted Sunday, at 2 p.m. from the Will Gregory Cemetery with Elder G. W. Knight officiating with interment following. She was born on March 20, 1940 in Coffee County, Tennessee, to her parents; Ira Edgar and Lou Ollie Kemp Waldon, who preceded her in death. Besides her parents; son, Terry Russell, and brothers, Luther C. Waldon and Herbert Alexander Waldon, also preceded her in death.   

Ruth was disabled most of her life, but raised six children. She was a member of Sycamore Valley Missionary Baptist Church.
Ruth is lovingly survived by; sons, Jerry Russell of Indianapolis, In, Wendall Sours of Alabama, and James Sours of Knoxville, TN, daughters, Tammy Woodcock of Indianapolis, IN, and Tina Vincent of Knoxville, TN, brother, Frank Waldon of Madison, TN, and Billy (Cora Jean) Waldon of Ocean Springs, MS, also survive.
