Patsy Allen Wallace, 83

Patsy Allen Wallace, age 83 of Nashville, TN. and formerly of Lafayette, died on Jan. 28, 2010 at Alive Hospice in Madison.  Funeral services for Patsy Allen Wallace were conducted Sun. from the chapel of Alexander Funeral Home with Elder Paul Oldham officiating.

Glespie Norman, Leon Fuque, Jim Holden, Porter Ford, and Paul Blankenship served as honorary pallbearers. Johnny Gross, Wayne Gross, Kenny Loftis, Terry Marsh, Ray Lyons, Jerry Carver, Anthony Bullington, and John Gross served as active pallbearers. Interment followed in the Macon County Memorial Gardens. She was born on Aug. 28, 1926 in Macon County, TN., to her parents; the late Lacy H. and Cora Fuqua Allen. Patsy was married to James Bonnell Wallace on March 2, 1945, sharing thirty-six wonderful years together and raising a daughter, he preceded her in death on August 9, 1981.  Besides her husband and parents; an infant son, Buddy Allen Wallace, sister, Ruby Gross, and brother, Billy Ray Allen, also preceded her in death. Patsy was a homemaker and a member of the Madison East Nashville Eastern Star #1 for the past fifty years.  She was a member of McFerrin Missionary Baptist Church. Patsy was a loving and caring person, who cherished her family and friends. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Patsy is lovingly survived by; daughter and son-in-law, Jan and husband Jim Lambert, and granddaughter, Lacey Lambert all of Madison, TN, sister, Caroline Loftis of Lafayette, TN, several nieces and nephews, also survive.
