Frances Sullivan, 74

Frances Sullivan, age 74 of Westmoreland, TN, passed away on Feb. 1 at her daughters residence. Funeral services for Frances Sullivan were conducted Thurs. from the chapel of Alexander Funeral Home with Elder Jimmy Cox officiating. Jim Manier, Carl Pruitt, Tommy Draper, Johnny Draper, David Head, and Thomas Head served as pallbearers. Interment followed in the Fairview Cemetery.

She was born on May 2, 1935 in Clay County, TN, to her parents; the late George and Canzada Brown Parrish. Frances was married to James Richard Sullivan in 1950, sharing forty-nine years together; he preceded her in death on July 19, 1999. Besides her husband and parents; son, Edward Dean Sullivan, grandson, Alan Dean Sullivan, sisters, Jannie Draper, and Anna Cunningham, also preceded her in death. She worked in factories as a seamstress all her life, retiring eight years ago. Frances was a homemaker who liked to quilt in the winter time, but when it become spring and warm weather she would stay outside working in her garden and yard. Frances enjoyed talking and visiting with her friends. She was a loving and caring mother, who cherished her time with the grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a member of Buffalo Springs Missionary Baptist Church. Frances will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. She is lovingly survived by; daughters, Elizabeth Ann Phillips and Felicia Ann and husband David Head all of Westmoreland, TN, brother, John Parrish of Texas, sisters, Mary Edith Baker of Whitehouse, TN and Iva Mai Parrish of Lebanon, TN, grandchildren, Julia and husband Mike Lamb, Jacob Justus Head, Nathaniel Blake Head, and Samuel Parker Head, great-grandchildren, Daniel Wayne Lamb, David Edward Lamb, Stephen Mitch Lamb, Alexis Sullivan, and Kaytlyn Sullivan, also survive.
