Ulysses Isenberg served as honorary pallbearer. Mike Scott, Mark Scott, Shane Holland, Eric Holland, Johnny Murray, and Jeremy Holland served as active pallbearers. Interment followed in the Scott Cemetery.

Version:1.0 StartHTML:0000000180 EndHTML:0000004265 StartFragment:0000002365 EndFragment:0000004229 SourceURL:file://localhost/Users/computer/Desktop/obitsw:pics/holland.doc Anna Blanch Holland, better known as Blanch, departed this life on Fri., Feb. 19, 2010 at the age of 86.  She was born on April 13, 1923 in Macon County, TN, to her parents; the late James Riley and Martha Virginia Carter Payne. Blanch was married to William Jesse Holland, known as Jesse, on April 26, 1940, sharing forty-six years together and raising seven children; Jesse preceded her in death in 1986.
Blanch was a homemaker and farmer, working by her husband’s side so they could supply their families needs. Blanch worked long hours, gardening, canning, and cooking. She enjoyed raising chickens and loved all animals, when she would go out with the children riding around she liked to see the different animals along the way.  Blanch made several quilts and did a lot of sewing in her spare time. She was young at heart and loved being around people, you never heard her talk bad about anyone; she saw the good in everyone. Blanch was a devoted mother who cared deeply for her children, and their families, her life revolved around them. She was saved at the age of twenty-eight; with her son Gene in her arms she made peace with the Lord. Blanch was a member of Antioch Missionary Baptist Church. She will be greatly missed by her loving family and all who knew her. She is lovingly survived by; children, Sue Holland Bishop of Glasgow, KY, Shirley and husband George Scott of Lafayette, TN, James and wife Patricia Holland, Wanda and husband Eldon Kinslow of Lafayette, TN, Gene and wife Joan Holland, Roger and wife Judy Holland, and Janet and husband David Carr all of Lafayette, TN, fourteen grandchildren, a host of great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, and a great number of dear friends; also survive.
