Funeral Services for Donald Dewayne Hargis were conducted on Sat., Feb. 27, 2010 from the chapel of the Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Lafayette with Brother Guthrie Gregory officiating.

Donald was born in Davidson County, TN. on Thurs., Dec. 5, 1935, the only child born to the late Joseph C. and Derotha Doss Hargis.  He married the former Mildred Fisher February 26, 1955, who survives.  To this union was born two children.  He was a parts manager for CMI Equipment, loved his pull truck and enjoyed fishing.  He was a member of the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. Survivors besides his wife, Mildred of 54 years include: Son and Daughter-in-Law, Steve and Janet Hargis of Lafayette, TN; Daughter and Son-in-Law, Debbie and Richard Johnson of Hartsville, TN; 2 Grandchildren, 4 Step-Grandchildren and 2 Great-Grandchildren.
