Funeral services for Eric Glen LaFevers were conducted Tuesday at 3 p.m. from the chapel of Alexander Funeral Home with Wayne Meador officiating. Kelley McCarter, Jamie McCarter, James Roberts, Joshua McCarter, Blake Spivey, and Johnny Lamb served as pallbearers. Interment followed in the Maple Grove Cemetery.

He was born in Wilson County, Tennessee on December 30, 1973 to Glen Irvin and Renita Faye McCarter LaFevers, his father preceded him in death.
Besides his father; half brother, Donnie Marsh, grandmother, Thelma LeFevers, and grandfather, James Carson McCarter, also preceded him in death. In his younger life, Eric was very involved in hunting and fishing. He enjoyed all kinds of sports, but most of all he loved his automobiles and spending time working on them. Eric was a loving and caring boy, who cherished his family. He was baptized on March 28, 1995 and became a member of the Lafayette Church of Christ. After becoming disabled, he was blessed with a family that seen that his needs were meet and took great care of him. Eric will be greatly missed by his loving family and all who knew him. He is survived by; mother, Renita Marsh of Lafayette, TN, brothers, Seth Marsh, and Zackary Marsh both of Lafayette, TN, two grandparents, Edna McCarter of Lafayette, TN, and Oscar LaFevers of Louisville, KY, nieces, Rhyleigh, Jissele, and Jocelyn, a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins; also survive.
