 He was born in Smith County, TN. on March 10, 1945, the son of the late Benton Willard Gregory and Edna Elizabeth Vinson.  In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brother, Willie Charles Gregory, brother-in-law, Harold Gammons, step-father, Harrison Vinson and mother-in-law & father-in-law, Mr.  & Mrs. Cecil Barber.  Dean married Debbie Barber, who survives.   He was retired from the Roadway and a veteran. Survivors besides his wife, Debbie include: daughter & son-in-law, Deana Michelle & Richard Hoffmann, son, Scott Dean Gregory all of Indianapolis, IN., brothers & sisters-in-law, Randel & Beverly Gregory, Red Boiling Springs, Stanley & Judy Gregory, William & Eleni Vinson, all of Lafayette, sisters & brother-in-law, Geneva & Dudley Hesson, Lafayette, Ruth Gammons, Hendersonville, TN.
