She was born in Allen County, KY on Nov. 25, 1936 to the late Earnest and Hattie Pearl Shockley Moore. Besides her parents; one son, David Mullet, also preceded her in death. Willa Dean was married to the love of her life Milo C. Mullet on Oct. 29, 1955, sharing fifty-four years together and had two sons and two daughters; Milo survives. She was a homemaker and worked in a garment factory until she became disabled. Willa Dean was a caring and loving mother and grandmother; that was her zeal for life and she cherished very moment that was spent with her family. She enjoyed the outdoors; gardening and working in her flowers, but when she wasn’t doing that she liked to quilt and crochet. Willa Dean spent her spare time sitting on the bank fishing; she could stay there all day. Her dinner table was like a coffee house; friends and family gathered there to talk and most would have a cup of coffee in hand. The table will never be the same, but the memories will remain. She was saved by the grace of God around the age of twelve, and then joined Red Hill Missionary Baptist Church in 1954, where she remained a member. Willa Dean will be greatly missed by her loving family and all who knew her.
