Vernon Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Stacye Beasley, Heath Spears, Brian Spears, Kevin Spears, Thomas Spears and Sjon-Paul Conyer. She is survived by her daughter Barbara & (Kenneth) Beasley of Gallatin; Sons Bobby & (Wanda) Spears of Westmoreland, Harold & (Ann) Spears of Gallatin, James & (Jeri) Spears of Gallatin, William & (Brenda) Spears of Gallatin, Kenneth Escue of Portland; sister Violet Winter and Lille Jo Pope both of Bethpage, 12 Grandchildren, 15 Great Grandchildren and 3 Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents Sam A. and Martha Frances Carter Escue; husband William Bascom Spears; grandson Shannon Beasley; Brothers Fred, Owen, Nathan and Albert Escue; Sisters Oma Jewell Whited and Bertha Escue. Mrs. Spears was retired from Gary Manufacturing. She was a member of Buffalo Springs Missionary Baptist Church.
