Funeral Services for Dan Williams were conducted Wednesday afternoon, May 12, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of the Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Red Boiling Springs with Brother Clovis York officiating. Interment followed in the Moss Cemetery with military honors by the American Legion Post 17 Color Guard from Gallatin, TN.  His family served as pallbearers.

Version:1.0 StartHTML:0000000189 EndHTML:0000003229 StartFragment:0000002370 EndFragment:0000003193 SourceURL:file://localhost/Users/computer/Desktop/OBITS%20W:PICS/williams,%20d.doc Dan was born Monday, December 11, 1939 in Sumner County, TN, the son of the late Cordell and Louise Jenkins Williams.  On November 11, 1966, he married the former Eva Johnson, who survives.  In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brother, David Williams and an infant sister.  He was a Farmer and a Veteran of Korea receiving a expert rifleman decoration. Survivors besides his wife, Eva of 43 years include: daughters & son-in-law, Rachel Thurman, Beverly & Mike McCreary, sons & daughters-in-law, Randy & Nikki Kemp all of Gallatin, Danny & Teresa Williams, Red Boiling Springs; 9 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
