Funeral Services for Sylvia Marie Driver Gregory were conducted Wednesday afternoon, May 26, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. from the chapel of the Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Red Boiling Springs with Elder Jeremy Yokley and Reverend Barry Davis officiating. Interment followed in the Smith Chapel Cemetery. Her nephews served as pallbearers.

Sylvia was born Friday, January 18, 1924 in Allen County, Kentucky, one of eight siblings born to the late Leonard Ray and Bessie Jewel Cropper Driver. On May 2, 1956, she married Roy Clifton Gregory, who preceded her in death on October 3, 1987. In addition to her husband and parents, she was also preceded in death by her sisters, Margaret Ann and Martha Ellen Driver and brothers, Shelvy, Vernice and Arthur Driver. Sylvia was a former receptionist for the UCHRA in Lafayette and a member of the Akersville Baptist Church.
Survivors include: Son, Randall Gregory, Red Boiling Springs, Grandson & his wife, Brandon & Emily Gregory, Red Boiling Springs, Granddaughter & her husband, Candace & Kevin Steward, Cookeville, Great-Grandchildren, Kyra Gregory, Red Boiling Springs, Kaden Steward, Cookeville, Sister, Mary Burgess, Gamaliel, KY, Brother & Sister-in-Law, Roy & Joann Driver, Campbellsville, KY, Sister-In-Law, Barbara Driver, Toledo, OH and a host of nieces and nephews.
