Version:1.0 StartHTML:0000000173 EndHTML:0000003805 StartFragment:0000002357 EndFragment:0000003769 SourceURL:file://localhost/Users/computer/Desktop/obits/Reneau.doc  Jerry Thomas, Jimmy Dayrl Reneau, Norman Burnly, Winston Cunningham served as Pallbearers.  Interment was in the Pleasant Home Cemetery.  John Reneau was born on July 4, 1922 in Allen County, Kentucky, one of seven siblings born to the late Fletcher Gatewood and Mary Elizabeth (Bean) Reneau.  He was married to the former Mae Cunningham, who preceded him in death in May of 1999.  His second marriage was to Mildred Adcock, who preceded him in death.  In addition to his parents and his spouses, a brother, Jim Reneau passed away about three weeks ago and his sisters, Mary Jones, Eola Thomas, Anna Laura Cook, Nettie Proffitt, and Ethel Cole preceded him in death.  John lived in Michigan for several years of his adult life and was a self employed Salesman and Owner in the retail store business.   After moving from Michigan, he moved to Smithville, TN, where he lived until his health declined and he had to enter the Life Care Center.  He was a Baptist Preacher.  He is survived by, son, Bruce Reneau, daughter, Wonda Ellward, step-daughter, Jean Clendenon of Smithville, TN, Step-son, Dean Adcock,  of Smithville, TN, sister-in-law, Elma “Tootie” Reneau of Fountain Run, KY., 3 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren.
